Dr. Madan Kumar Piya is a distinguished Medical Oncologist. He has more than 30 years of experience in treating and contributing to the overall health policy in Nepal. He did his MBBS (1973) from Dhaka Medical College, Bangladesh; DTM&H (1978), London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine, UK; DTCD (1982), University of Wales Cardif, UK; Fellowship Training in Medical Oncology, (1990- 1991), University Of Colorado Health Sciences Center, Denver, Colorado. USA and MHCM (2013) Masters in Health Care Management, Distinction with Deans List, Pokhara University, Nepal. Dr. Piya jointly founded the National Hospital and Cancer Research Center and currently serves as its Chairman.
